Hello! I'm Chinmay, an Information Technology graduate, lifelong learner, and someone who genuinely enjoys understanding how technology works. Whether it's configuring Linux servers, experimenting with cloud services, building web applications, or automating repetitive tasks, I enjoy the process of learning just as much as building.

I created this website to be much more than a portfolio. It's my personal knowledge base—a place where I document what I learn, write technical blogs, store snippets I frequently use, and showcase projects I've built. Over time, I've realized that the best way to truly understand something is to explain it, so this website has become a way for me to organize my thoughts while hopefully helping others who come across them.

One thing you'll quickly notice is that I enjoy exploring a wide variety of technologies. I have a habit of diving deep into subjects that capture my curiosity, often spending hours reading documentation, experimenting, and trying different approaches until I fully understand how something works. While that curiosity occasionally sends me down unexpected rabbit holes, it has also helped me build a broad foundation across software development, cloud computing, networking, Linux, containers, automation, and system administration.

Living with ADHD has shaped the way I learn. Instead of following a straight line, I often explore topics from multiple angles, connecting ideas across different technologies. It can make my learning journey unconventional, but it also encourages curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement— qualities that have become some of my biggest strengths as an engineer.

Beyond technology, I enjoy solving problems in different forms. I'm an avid speedcuber and can solve cubes all the way up to a 10×10. I also enjoy playing chess, reading, and experimenting with my homelab, where I can safely test new operating systems, networking setups, self-hosted services, and automation without worrying about breaking anything important.

Along the way, I've earned certifications including AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure AZ-900, Cisco CCNA, and Red Hat RHCSA. While certifications have helped strengthen my fundamentals, I believe real understanding comes from building projects, experimenting with ideas, making mistakes, and learning from them.
